The general public likes LSU (I wear my LSU gear up here in VB, VA and CONSTANTLY get geaux tigers), but the media DEFINITELY has a bias against us.
I used to laugh at that thought, but I've seen it too much for it to be just a coincidence.

I don't know if it's my imagination but it feels like when I'm at away games this year the home fans are more hostile than they have been

Some do, some don’t. ESPN employs a ton of LSU alums. Guys like SVP, Josh Pate, JD Pickell, Big Cat, and others always talk about how much they love LSU.

Kelly was disliked at ND and then we hired him.
Kiffin is pretty disliked across the board as someone who bails on his team at the drop of a hat at the next bigger opportunity. And then we hired him and proved them right.
Generally, people will want to see us not succeed with Kiffin, then him jump to the NFL or another school.
