There’s less than a 0% chance we haven’t already tampered with multiple OL and have deals being lined up. Jan 2 will be wild.

That immature arse was on the sidelines acting like a clown. During the oline coaching sessions he was laughing and cutting up. His arse should not have been allowed to travel. This is definitely addition by subtraction.

Why? He has potential. Is LSU not going to try to retain any of the OL? Not all of them were bad. I don't think Ory Williams was all that bad. OL going to be ugly next year even with going deep in the portal.

The very best on the line this season graded out as poor

That's because OL is the position groups where 1-2 bad guys on it can ruin the entire OL. There's more than 1-2 bad ones here but guys like Moore and Adams were not the problems. You'd be dumb not to try to keep at least those guys around. Curne has a mean streak and he was a freshman playing out of position. You keep those 3. Williams actually was pretty decent in his spot up. I get they probably want to reset here but you can't send the entire OL roster to the portal. You're not going to replace them all so easily and expect a cohesive unit to come together fast next year. Slide Adams to RT, get Moore and Curne back at least, go hunting in portal. I'm guessing maybe Lane saw what we see in Adams being out of position and he didn't want to be a RT.

I thought he would be one to stick around and develop.

True, but depth will be non existent. So many people on here acting like getting a ton of OL out the portal will fix everything there have lost their damn minds. If anybody gets hurts we're fricked, and from recent memory over half the line can easily miss multiple games due to injury.

It’s not the same as ending with a 39 scholarship players, but being touted as an offensive lineman guru and seeing it in like this feels similar.

Braelin Moore is the only OL that's a must-keep.

His run blocking grade for the season was in the 50s. He was not a good player this year. The o line as a whole was one of the worst position groups in all of cfb. I would rather take my chances at finding 6 random portal lineman than give any of these guys money to play next year. That’s how bad they were.

I’ll get plenty of downvotes for this, but I always felt like BK would sign highly rated recruits he was left with after losing out on the ones we really wanted. And so many of them were project guys that other schools didn’t want to take a risk on, but were rated highly due to potential. We would offer those guys more money or attention than other schools were willing to because we had no other choice.
