Superdome set to become 2nd oldest NFL stadium if Bears & Chiefs do move

Bills are playing their final games at ole Ralph Wilson this year
Bears have been floating the idea of moving to Arlington Heights or maybe even Gary, Ind. and out of Soldier Field (seems like just yesterday the Saints played the Bears in Champagne at the University of Illinois' stadium while major renovations were going on at Solider Field)
Chiefs just signed a deal to move across the border to Kansas City, Kansas in 6 years and out of Arrowhead

And will never ever get another stadium in 100 lifetimes.

It’s funny but a few opposing teams fans loved the Superdome when I talked to them at the games. Especially after the renovations.

I went to every one of these stadiums for Saints games within the last 3 years. The superdome is state of the art compared to them. Highmark is such a dump.

It was better when smoking was allowed

The Saints don’t need a new stadium. Only thing that the Superdome needs is to get rid of the multicolored seats and lower concession stand prices.

Yeah, so?

Super dome don’t host games. It hosts events. People will forever come here. Quarter, bars, walking culture. That’s all a part of it. My only complaints are parking can be expensive and tricky, esp if you are running late and traffic is bad. bottlenecking in the dome at times can be a pain. Concourses can do that. Atmosphere wins the day though. Every time. I love the dome

it is a shame that they cannot put a retractable roof in the Superdome because it is a super fine stadium today.

They are keeping some of the seats and the old yellow bulb lighting scoreboard on the lower board to hold onto & honor some of the legacy & history. With that being the reason, I like keeping

I’m curious about crowd noise at these new stadiums. I’ve never been to one. I know that circular enclosed dome of ours pounds the sound. It adds to the feeling and the importance and impact of the moment. If you know you know. 60k people making you feel like you in tiger stadium with 100k people.

Not needed. Would never be opened.

There is but a handful of stadiums Americans would recognize on sight. Ours is one.
I mean dig up four billion we could talk.

Superdome is in perfect location. Dome needs to be upgraded.

They fricked up Soldier a long time ago and it never had a classic/historic feel. The arrowhead move is a travesty.
The Dome has historic feel and will always get Superbowls. I love that it’s old and I hope we never move
