Fricking Episcopalians. Lady looks like she belongs in a Handmaid’s Tale costume at a No Kings Rally, not in priestly vestments. It’s so pointed and narcissistic.
It’s disrespectful to call the place the “National” Cathedral.

I couldn’t imagine going to Mass and have a woman try to preach to me. It’s unnatural.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the legacy of Jesus Christ on this holy day! He'd be so proud of you.

But it’s the first openly gay transgender half black half hispanic vegan bald feminist druidic priestess!

I didn’t see a woman in the pulpit until college when I went to a Mormon church with a buddy. He leaned over and said, ‘now I know why women shouldn’t preach. I can see her nipples.’

Episcopalians are ultra progressive especially since most of them are concentrated in the New England area

If a woman is leading your Church...
Find another Church.

Romans 15:7
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
Romans 2:11
For God shows no partiality.
Luke 6:37
“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;
Romans 15:5-7
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

A female, Baptist pastor resided over multiple weddings and funerals in my family. And has been our pastor for most of my life. The SBC was even “ok” with it until they removed the church from the coalition when they asked her to step down (after 30+ years serving) a couple years ago.
The word of God is still the word of God.

The Episcopalian Church fights for Abortion Rights and access.
So yes, I think Jesus would support his followers criticizing false churches being broadcast to millions!

Are you…
If not, you don’t really have meaningful input here.

Yes we are all equal under God’s authority….
But the scriptures are also clear on the role of women in the Church…
Those aren’t my words, those are the word’s from the scripture. Our opinion on the matter really doesn’t matter. You can argue for or against what you think should or shouldn’t be. But if you’re making an argument that goes against God’s word, then you need to understand you’re rebelling against God Himself.
Downvote it, scream at it, do whatever you like. The Bible says why it says and we can either accept it or not.
quote:
Galatians 3:28: "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus".
But the scriptures are also clear on the role of women in the Church…
quote:
1 Timothy 2:11-12: "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent".
1 Corinthians 14:34-35: "Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home".

11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[b] she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. — 1 Timothy 2:11-14

Went to a non-denominational church over the summer for a baptism, it was like a church filled with every talking point from Reddit.
