President Biden says to terminate the broadcast licenses of FoxNews and OANN
If President Biden actually said something so absurd, most of you justifiably would be complaining and saying that he doesn't understand the 1st Amendment.
Of course, President Biden didn't say that. But trump did say this:
Thus demonstrating his lack of understanding of the 1st Amendment. He dishes it out, but he can't take it. And as a public figure, he has to take criticism, that's one of the costs of having freedom of expression.

Except that neither Fox News nor OANN operate under a broadcast license. A broadcast license is for over-the-air channels. The public airways are controlled by the government.

The First Amendment was intended to foster the free and open exchange of ideas. It is not supposed to be a one sided re-education camp-like PA system.
Fortunately, the legacy propaganda machine that is the MSM, is being fractured due to Internet where anyone with a cell phone and a computer can be a TV station.
