Things going well and he's playing well

Sell high is the move unless we think we are riding with him

I think the injury is coming because it always has but 6th man Zion has worked really well

Thoughts?

It's a good question. Zion off the bench seems to be working for the team, but is it a longterm option? And can we justify paying 50 million a year for our 6th man?

Yes. Hope and pray he stays healthy until the trade deadline and some team will think he can give them a legit chance to win it all. Get assets. Team needs to find their long term SG and big to pair with Queen.

I would trade a lot for Kelel Ware.

Does Miami think a
Murray / Mitchell
Herro / Hawkins
Herb / Jacquez
Zion / Jovic
Bam / Missi

Lineup could compete? It would at least wreck shite defensively.

Pels save a lot of money, get some expirings back, and center of future.

Pelicans lineup
Fears / Jose
Powell / Poole / Peavy
Murphy/ Wiggins
Queen / Bey
Ware / Karlo

IMO, bench doesn't matter for his trade value. GMs are watching him dominate 4th quarters. This is what rehabs him. It only takes one dumbass GM to think that they can fix him.

I seriously doubt Zion gets traded this year.

A reporter a week or so ago said Zion sat down with the team, the coaching staff and front office and asked them to please give him a chance to get himself right and prove to them he can be the guy.

That shows commitment to wanting to be here, and coming back from that injury 2 weeks ahead of schedule shows he’s making that commitment to try to be better, along with coming off the bench and doing it happily, while dominating 4th quarters. That’s what Dumars and Co wanted to see from him, and what will keep him in NOLA

This winning streak is nice and Zion has played very nice coming off the bench.

I'm not going to let this 5 game streak distract me from what he has been his entire careerhere. He's not dependable. We are still in last place, though that can change, we still need to think about what's best for the future and whats best is building around Queen and Fears, not Zion.

This is the battered wife syndrome stage that always pops back up with Zion. Yes, he's incredibly nice to you right now, but do not forget how many times he's punched you in the face.

Shopping is one thing. However, most teams will make deals near the deadline unless it is a no brainer deal in their favor. So, if we want to deal him, we would need him to stay healthy and performing up until that time.

Sorry, half a game out of last place. And it doesn't change any other point I made.

What sucks is Queen Fears Zion and Trey can be a theoretical threat in 3 years, but the ship has sailed with Zion. I cant do it anymore. He'd have to win a title for me to be bought back in. So itll never happen.

Oh frick no. This is like taking your girl back after catching her sucking dick repeatedly.

She swears she can change and just wants another chance, then she sees a dick and goes back to sucking.

Trade this fricking dude.

If you’re able to get a couple firsts or a solid shooter for him id do it. He’s making 42 million next year. Is that worth a 6th man player on a play-in team who can’t stay healthy?

Regardless what his value will be by February, I’d push hard to make the move
