If tweet fails to load, click here. The US attorney is promising more investigations after BILLIONS just went unaccounted for...in one county
"$2.3 billion sent to LA County over 4 years is completely unaccounted for."
"That's $2.3 billion dollars that could have been used to clean up this, or find housing for people who live like this, or to fix this part of Venice Beach, where people own million-dollar homes but are too afraid to walk their dogs because of this."
"There have already been two indictments linked to his probe, but U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli says there are a lot more to come."
US ATTORNEY: "Taxpayers have forked over tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions of dollars to fix it, and people are stealing it? It's unbelievable, and you know, it's probably been going on for a very long time, but unfortunately no one's really looked at it until recently!"
"There's really, again, never been any oversight. But now you have the federal government. The election was won by the opposite party."
"And you have an election that has consequences. And now you have prosecutors in the federal government that are independent and are going to take an objective look."
"And I frankly do not care who is involved, what position they serve, or how high up they are. We will aggressively pursue and prosecute anyone that violates federal law regarding the misuse of homelessness funds."

This has been going on for the term of Newscum... There was a company that won a "lottery" to build homeless shelters.. They were given 400 million dollars.. The company gave the democrat party 300 million and then went out of business and the 100 million disappeared.. The company name was Shangri La...
quote:
Shangri-La Industries was a developer involved in California's Homekey program, receiving millions in state grants to convert motels into homeless housing, but faced major fraud allegations and lawsuits for misused funds, stalled projects (in places like Thousand Oaks, Redlands, King City), and fake financial records, leading to criminal charges against its CFO, Cody Holmes, for embezzling funds for personal use (Coachella, private jets, luxury items) instead of building the promised housing.

Some District Court Judge does and will put a stop to all of this accountability.
And some people on here will rejoice and explain to us that accountability with federal tax money is a state regulated function and OMB is overextending his executive powers.

Wait, I thought Israel was getting all of our tax dollars? 2.3B in one county is 60% of what was sent to IL to buy stuff from American arms manufacturers for an entire year. One county.

If we could get rid of the fraud we could pay a lot less in taxes, hopefully a lot of people go to jail, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

You don't know that.
We might have lots of indictments, arrests and trials before local juries find them not guilty.

I have been saying since this started that no way Minnesota is the epicenter.
New York
California
Illinois
All at a minimum have worse fraud happening.

No shite. My point was paying 10% more in California knowing how corrupt it is.
I’m in Florida, I’m sure it happens, but not on the scale of that shithole.

That’s a lot of social security funding in just two states.

The more illegals you have the more fraud you have.

It’s every democrat run city, I imagine a number of RINO run smaller ones too but they’re not that many of RINO run cities to start with

It has to be... California has a much larger population and we already know it's corrupt as hell.
