I think Kiff would like for it to be O…but maybe there are too many burned bridges/Kiff thinks he is too old, I have no idea. Been quiet on this one and find that interesting.

You don’t necessarily have to have a recruiting coordinator. Kiffin’s style might be to let the position coaches recruit their own guys

From what it sounds like Glasscock and Kiffin basically run the recruiting board as far as priorities and NIL funds go. I don’t know if they’ll have someone on staff with the title of recruiting coordinator.

Kiff learned from “the Master”….. Saban would do this:

1)Go meet all the local HS coaches from good/great programs
2)Have his people scout the players
3)evaluate them
4)go to the home, meet the mama, dance a little — close the deal

However, #4 is not necessarily needed these days - if the offer/contract is strong enough.

Maybe get Honey Badger on staff to just go to the house with the offer?

Chicken….. It’s way past time that you start to require an IQ test to post here.

We have a recruiting coordinator. I think you guys may be mixing up the roles and responsibilities.

The defensive staff has enough really good recruiters that I’m not worried about. And the offense, well, Lane Kiffins name by itself will recruit top end talent offensively. Elite playmakers will want to play in Kiffins and Weiss Jrs system.

I get it, dude was a phenomenal Tiger and he was also a Saint. Dude is a Louisiana football legend, but I don't understand why everybody keeps trying to put him on this staff. If he is meant to be a coach at LSU, it will happen in due time. We have no idea if he can coach or if he can recruit, or how much he really wants to do either at this moment in time. I think he'd make a good coach, and I think he would kill it talking to a recruits parents about LSU and Louisiana, but I'll wait until the right time for it to happen.

Once the NCAA allowed support staffs, the top programs created recruiting departments.

I don’t think recruiting coordinator pays as well as the buyout.
