They want a hire before their bowl (December 31st) and have interviewed the interim Biff Poggi multiple times.

Poggi, Whittingham, Chargers DC Jesse Minter, and Packers OC Adam Stenavich are the four names mentioned.

Doesn’t Kelly have to be at least applying for all of these openings? If so, says a lot about what schools think about his trajectory.

Jesse Minter would be a home run for them

His agent throwing his name out there would check that box.

I would have to think he would have too much stink on him from the cheating scandal for UM to bring him back. I think it behooves them to completely end the Harbaugh era.

The timing is terrible. They would honestly be better off going cheap and re-evaluating after year 1.

Yeah, I would almost have Biff as the interm next season and start fresh.

Unless they can get kyle whittingham i think id just go as a 1 year deal with Biff.

Dude this isn't 1987. If Portnoy is still throwing money at the program they can handle a down year especially if its known they aren't sticking with Biff. Kyle whittingham would be my first choice.

hire biff you are looking at mass transfers and a drop in nil donations. not to mention he has no business getting the job based on his resume.

Poggi was a disaster at his last job. I thought Brohm was a candidate.

Out of all the teams declining bowl game invites, Michigan should be at the top of that list.

If he doesn't have to recruit isn't the CW that Mullen would be very good?
