Legit non-troll question. Does someone bring him in as a potential starter or is he a backup next year?

He’ll be the Kirk cousins of the falcons next year

I don't think you know what bust means
League is starved for QBs wouldn't be shocked he starts next year. For sure on a roster

Someone will bring him in to compete for a starting spot.

The guaranteed $54M next season is going to make it difficult to do anything with him.

Yeah, total bust.

I agree.
Henry, Fitzpatrick, Julio Jones, Devonte Smith, etc…all HUGE busts.

To the niners he goes to rehabilitate his career…

Lots of teams need a QB. Someone will roll the dice. Jets, Raiders, Browns..would be on par for one of those franchises to bring him in.

This will be the reason he has a job next year.

I think he is a career back up guy now.

I saw someone mention Indy as a landing spot if they bring back Daniel Jones and wait for him to get healthy again

Wasn't he also among the top contenders for most game ending concussions/ His numbers of interceptions have also been impressive although many could be shared with his receiving corps.
The moneys going to him are an overlay with no guarantees of his becoming healthier.

What's that got to do with bust status? He's been in the league 6 seasons. In 1/3 of those seasons he's led the league in a major passing category. Even in the most fevered imaginations of those on the SECr afflicted with the worst cases of Bama Envy, that isn't bust status.

Signing him would be the most Saints thing ever
Posted on 12/22/25 at 12:00 pm to SEC Doctor
How ironic would it be if the Eagles signed him as Hurts’ backup
