Maybe the Head Coach and starting QB are actually outstanding at their jobs?

How unbelievable would it be if the Saints hit an absolute home run with both of those?

What is going on here?

I have no idea why Kellen was breaking out his best stuff vs the Jets... but im glad he did.

It felt kinda like he wanted to show up Glenn as the better hire and im absolutely glad he did. We need Sean levels of petty again lol

I love that the Saints are winning, wins generate an attitude that you can do it. You have to be realistic here too. We have been playing some teams that aren't considered elite (they are fair at best). So we have improved, but we will need a great draft/free agency to help us to be be good consistently.

I think we need to keep things in perspective.

• The Jets are absolutely a terrible team.
• We have no running backs or running game.
• The interior of our offensive line is the worst.
• We are weak against the run.
• We need a #1 WR.
• Our best DE and LBer are 5,000 years old.
• Ruiz is still on the team.

That being said,

• Our rookie QB looks really good. That’s the hardest position to find.
• The team plays hard and plays inspired.
• CKM is a rookie head coach and isn’t perfect, but you’re starting to see the team put things together. And they are disciplined.
• We seem to have found a weapon at Kicker!
• We should be able to fix some of the above issues in the draft. And after years of bad drafts, this last year’s draft class is looking good.
• We have won 3 games in a row and aren’t playing down to our opponent.

Other than the forced TE androids, Sean pettiness was one of the best Sean’s

they are not playing good teams and i dont think the O line is playing that great, but Defense is playing pretty good.

I think our QB is playing really well

We beat the top 2 teams in our division in back-to-back weeks... 1 of which was on the road

We should be in the division race next year... which is all you need for the playoffs

I am ready to be a hardcore Saints fan again. I love the coach and our QB play has really improved. I’m greedy and want a playoff run next year

Sean's pettiness is so immature and unprofessional. It is a disgusting thing for a coach to exhibit!... Unless, of course, he is our coach

Really weak schedule

+

Decent defense

+

New QB giving the offense just enough juice

Yes I know

What I'm saying is with Shough at the level he is now

If the defense can remain steady & Shough gets a few more weapons on offense... we should be able to get enough wins to be a contender in the NFC South next season

We would be one this year and will definitely be one next year.

Best division record currently and could finish 2 games back of the division winner if things play out a certain way (even 3-4 games back given our start is a huge testament to the post Rattler turnaround).

Rebuttal:

Our best DE is Chase young. Defense is night and day from when he came back.

We’ve been good against the run for the past couple of months.

Our running backs are all injured. Miller and Neal both showed promise when healthy.

First, that’s not saying much. Second, he’s had 7 sacks and about 30 tackles since coming back. Cam has 6 sacks and around 30 tackles in the same period. Cam plays the run better. Chase bull rushes and tends to be out of position on run plays. Cam is old. Chase and Granderson are just ehh DEs. We need better to be real contenders.

Ehh. We were bad against the rush today. Defense had played better. But I’m not sure if that’s because of the teams or if we are actually playing better.

I like Neal. Miller is just too injury prone. We need a speed back to pair with Neal IMO.

Not sure we watched the same game today. They only allowed 64 rushing yards against a really good back today. And if I’m not mistaken, we only allowed one 100 yd rusher all season.
