Why does all the stuff he sets down disappear? Why does the "tortilla" on the flat top move back and forth without being touched? How does it fold itself?

A banker I knew had been on one visit to India. For the second one, she filled her larger suitcase with wrapped and boxed one pound boxes of Velveeta cheese.
After the trip she reported that she had sold all of them within five days of arrival for significant profits.
eta An LSU Prof was a good friend as well and he thought he could outwit the bad food and drink. He almost lost his eyesight because he didn't suspect that the bottled beer he bought in Bombay, with the cap still intact and no sign of being tampered with....had the wrong kind of alcohol in it.
Which beats another prof I knew who died in China from food poisoning (and he was a Taiwanese chinese speaker.)
