Indiana is simultaneously the best team in the country and the best story in college football. That combination hasn't been seen since 1998 Kansas State. So naturally, a meh unlikable Bama team would ruin that story. I feel like they'll have a 2025 World Series-esque win where they're outplayed everywhere but the scoreboard.

This is a rare situation where the entire country will be rooting for the #1-ranked team to win.

The mouse won’t make it easy on Indiana. More money in bama playing in the semifinals.

It is weird that everyone will pull for #1, but Bama is too inconsistent to win it all. It’s not happening.

They’re going to make Indiana a ridiculous favorite because the Big 10 is overrated as hell. So Bama may not win, but don’t bet on Indiana to cover the spread.

Indiana is legit and we can't run the ball.

Deboer has an 18-4 record against ranked teams while HC of Washington and now Bama. I don't think most people realize that.

I do not believe that Indiana will defeat Alabama in football.

1998 KSU, 2007 WVU, 2010 Boise, and 2011 Okie State were all legit too and we know what happened to those teams. Title contenders falter when they're feel-good stories and should win handily on paper.

Wild to say but I’m not sure Bama has the horses Indiana has to stick with them. Mendoza isn’t going to throw perfect out route in the flat for a Bama TD, for instance. They don’t beat teams up, they had 260 yards of total offense tonight. I do not see it

Did you actually watch the game? Oklahoma lost that game way more than Bama won.

That's UGA.

And Indiana and Georgia play a similar style.

Body blows, precision, and execution.

Exactly, just like the Jays lost that World Series more than the Dodgers won it. Bama has historically thrived on voodoo magic.

Not even close dude.

The Dodgers were the best team in baseball all year, Bama hasn't been close to the best team in CFB.

Just stop.

Except Indiana isn't just a feel-good story.

They are legitimately really good and it's not a one-off . This has been 2 straight years.

Those other 3 teams were lightining-in-a-bottle Cinderellas
