Ahh, forgot about Mardi Gras, that will wreak havoc with everything. Speaking of next Saturday, I'm planning on making the baseball and basketball double header.

I enjoy baseball more, but basketball does bring more national attention and revenue.

I hope we can get basketball better. Basketball should have more people at the games anyway since its located in a bigger sports arena. We HAVE to get the student section fixed. It needs to be behind the basket all the way to the top. When you sit in the upper deck, you feel like youre not part of the student section. its way to segregated right now.

For me personally, I would like to see LSU do better in baseball. I understand the intricacies of the game and love to think through the moves and coach's decision as I'm watching. I love to watch basketball too but I do not understand the finer points of the game as some others probably do. As a university, it is much better for LSU to have a better basketball team. More revenue, exposure, etc as has been stated earlier in this thread.

Good post, it just really boils down to preference. It's obvious which scenario the school would benefit more from, but everyone has their own niche. I enjoy both sports but I can't afford to spend 10+ hours at baseball games over the course of just one weekend. I'll definitely make my fair share as always though.

Thanks

I understand baseball because I spent fourteen years of my life playing it. I played basketball but was never really coached by knowledgeable coaches so I was never taught the correct way to play the game.

I completely agree and I say that having experience some great times in the PMAC. Its all a matter of personal preference and baseball and its laid back atmosphere appeal to me.

basketball easily. Don't even have to think about that.

Football and Basketball are the big 2 sports at any college. Only a hand full of schools list baseball as a big 3.

basketball, just because of the fact that college baseball is so unbelievably meaningless on the national scene

I get the idea behind the thread, but I really couldn't choose between the two, because by picking one that would mean that I care less about the other, which is not true.

definately basketball. I want the Tigers to finish strong in all sports but I really don't care about anything outside of football and basketball.
