New Christmas Eve Tradition

Wife wants to make Waffle House our new Christmas Eve tradition. We have three WH to choose from can you help me decide?

Probably the one on Nelson.
One on I-10 is next to a love shack (trashy) the other one is near McNeese but next to the worst Burger King (trashy) I've ever been to

We actually started doing nothing but finger foods and sliders to have after Mass for Christmas movies.
We break em out the next day so we can play with the kids and not fuss over a giant meal until the next season of life.

We get Chinese take out on Christmas Eve - it started because for a few years in a row, the electricity went out while we were at the vigil mass

We go to Waffle House on Christmas Day Eveing.
But that time I don’t want to see any family and I don’t want anymore Holiday food.

We eat at WH on Christmas Eve on a regular basis. I say regular basis because its not every year, but most years.
A few years ago while eating... This was around 10PM... This dude comes up to me and ask what type of batteries my wheelchair uses. I told him and he says something like "I have some batteries in my van you can have if you could use them".. I told him I appreciate it, but I had recently replaced them and that he should donate them so that someone who really needs them can get them. There was a weird vibe about the dude, but after that he left and I didn't think anymore about it.
When I was leaving, as soon as I was out the door at Waffle House I see this dude get out of his van. It was one of those.. Ford freight vans and he was like "I decided to wait for you to come out in case you changed your mind. At least come look at them, they are in the back". He must have seen the look on my face because he was like "I was just trying to help", got back in his van and left.
I think I really looked at him as if he was out of his god damn mind. I don't care what your intentions are, you don't wait in your van after someone tells you they are not interested in something they want to give, for them to come out of the establishment you asked them in, and say "I decided to wait for you... come to the back of my van to see". Dude might have been trying to steal my wheelchair.. Or take me or inject me with something and try to rape me.
It was the weirdest interaction I ever remember having, but at least I had WH.

I did appreciate his take on becoming a drug addict - he always admitted he knew what would happen the first time he did heroin, that he walked into addiction with eyes wide open, but the way he downplayed every thing else, and considered his opinion as far superior was very annoying, so I agree with you.
