LSU OL in the NFL currently

I just heard Anthony Bradford’s name get called for the Seahawks (albeit for a false start) after having forgot about him. We’ve put out so many quality OLineman in the NFL and yet we’ve had so many struggles there since 2019-2020. I’m excited for Kiffin’s offense but I want to see a dominant OL again. Les was inept on offense but there was never a doubt that he was gonna have a mauling Oline. I want to see bully ball again

Kiffin will have a great OLINE in both passing and run blocking. His scheme helps with that as well. Les basically took 5 guards and played them all across the line. No need for tackles trying to pass block. Les’ OT body type would not cut it today. Kiffin knows what he’s doing.

Not many know what I would do to have another back like Fournette or Guice in the backfield.
LSU is known for having physical specimens at the RB position. You knew LSU was running it but couldn’t stop it. We just needed a passing game to get over the hump (Alabama) then we completely flipped things and could pass, but not run for shite these last 5 years.

Bradford and Damien Lewis have both been solid starters at guard in the league for quite a while now. They’re veterans at this point.

I won’t be convinced that the 2019 line was anything other than average and their accolades were 90% Burrow’s presence / instincts / mobility
But they’ve done well for themselves since

This is a common misconception about Les Miles. At LSU Les’ offensive lines were by far the weakest position group on the team other than maybe QB. Most of the starters at RB, WR, DLine, LB, and DB were drafted and played at least for a year or two in the NFL. I started to add TE, but had second thoughts on that one. Way less than half of our OLinemen made it to the NFL.
Les and his staff apparently coached the running game very well, because they usually had an effective one. Bama shut it down every year, though, because we just did not have the top talent on the OLine to compete with them.

Got beat at the snap instantly just about every play I picked to watch him.

People on TD seem to enjoy pointing out Deculus’ shortcomings while at LSU and yet he is in year 4 of a career in the NFL, living in Los Angeles, on the active roster for a 10-4 playoff team. He played on a national championship team - one of the best all time. Not bad for a kid from Mamou that wept as he came off the field on senior night in Tiger Stadium. If he was only a C+ player, I’ll take 20 more of him.
