When they had to saline solution about a quarter-sized hole I put in my knee when after I opened it on the pavement.
They offered pain killers, but because I had no one to drive me from the hospital (before uber) I refused them.

A pair of broken ribs... twice
I've actually been shot in the shoulder, and I would take that any day over dealing with the long term pain and uncomfort of broken ribs

When I was in second grade, the ortho set my broken arm. Told me to just hold my breath and look the other way.

Might be recency bias, but the injections in my nuts prior to my vasectomy last week were not pleasant.
