Four moderate House Republicans rebelled against House Speaker Mike Johnson on Wednesday, joining Democrats to force a vote on extending key Affordable Care Act subsidies that are set to expire at the end of the year.
If approved, the measure will extend ACA tax credits for three years.

it’s so ridiculous
-government shut down negatively affecting everyone
-republican party in general take all the negative PR hit for “pulling” the subsidies and give the Ds ammunition for midterms
-Dems and swamp get their funding anyway

The four moderate House Republicans who rebelled against House Speaker Mike Johnson are Brian Fitzpatrick, Mike Lawler, Rob Bresnahan, and Ryan Mackenzie. They joined Democrats to force a vote on extending key Affordable Care Act subsidies.

It is how the Congress plays the game. Unfortunately, the state house no longer elect the US Senators, much to the chagrin of the US citizen.

Just ramp up the deportations. The more democrats vote to give out free stuff the harder Trump needs to make sure non Americans don't get it.

The soft language of advocacy journalism positioning them as heroes for trying to force Congress to bankrupt the country even faster. Was this Jake Tapper?
