Seems like he would have as good of an opportunity next season at LSU as anywhere?

We've known this since he left the team a month ago.

Agree, but he's making a knee jerk reaction b/c BK got fired. Either he is weak minded, myopic, or has bad advice. Doesn't matter. If he wants to leave, let him go. Certainly, he's not justified meaningful NIL investment

I think he knows he’s not going to see playing time in a Lane Kiffin offense.

Kid should still be in HS. He's already graduated, played 2 years of college football, and hit the portal by age 18. A good cautionary tale for these kids rushing to get out of HS. Slow down, enjoy the moment.

Colin Hurley had a ZERO % chance of ever being the starter at LSU.

He should be a true freshman, not in high school.

I think this is a true statement unless a kid has been held back. A guy who is going to be 19 going into his senior year may do well to reclassify if he can, but otherwise, I would think their body needs to mature a bit more before going against the grown men playing in the SEC

Meh. This is probably a good move for him. Let him go and I hope he finds a spot somewhere. But I never thought he was a guy for us.

I wasn't sure when his birthday is, I guess he turns 19 this spring?

Agree. He was 16 when he enrolled January 2024 which is preposterous for a college student. He was obviously given terrible advice.

March 1st, I think.

Pretty harsh take. He's had a rough time at LSU and should have stayed in HS another year. Probably for the best for the kid to get a fresh start elsewhere. Wish him luck.

He made a mistake by leaving high school early. Good luck to him.

Hurley was never ever going to start at LSU. Looks for him to hop on the Florida team and be a back up. He lives near there.

How do you know that? Because he didn’t play as a freshman? I’ve never heard anything about him in practice, did he look bad?
