I remember this case. They were laughing and acting like they would be OK due to being under 18 at the time of the killing.

18 and 20 years is way too lenient it should be life no parole no questions asked

Not exactly.

They were sentenced to "18 years to life" for one and to "20 years to life” for the other, pursuant to a plea bargain. Because they committed the crime as minors, state law mandates that they are eligible for parole after 20 years. They could theoretically be breathing free air by their 40th birthdays.

It is Nevada law, but this crime was beyond heinous. I am not sure that justice is being served adequately here.
