Where is everyone getting craft beer (bottles/cans) in NOLA these days? And I'm not talking about all the LA/MS beers

504 is closed.
Steins is ok.
Martins only sells local stuff
I've heard Save N Time went downhill

How picky you getting? Rouses has a decent (not great) selection.

Whats wrong with the local stuff?

I just want other options besides the local stuff. Lately the local stuff has been weak. Urban South hasn't done any decent short runs in a while. Parish, every run is a ghost ripoff and very similar to normal ghost.

I haven't been since they've gotten new ownership, but I would try Elios. Stein's has a solid selection but maybe not the local stuff you are looking for. Another option is Dorignac's.

Otherwise, it might just be easier to go to the source and grab stuff.

Since when is it ok?

I recall 10-15 years ago this was the can’t miss place to get all the good craft beers.

Went to Elios last week. It was just locals and a couple of the standard asian wines.

Whole Foods and Dorignac's are the best. Dorignac's has some 7th Tap, which is excellent. Also some good Spindletap releases that my BIL in Houston often does not even see there.

Well, you are seeking meh local. Go to the good breweries:

Parleaux
Brieux Carre
Saint X
Ecology
Miel

Wish they canned more. The others you listed always have some available and a decent number of different offerings.

Dorignac’s is probably the best retail option.

Lots of sours and really good prices.

Everything else is meh, but not really a Steins issue. Craft beer just isn't what it was. Seltzers and old orange juice IPAs.

Brady's Wine Warehouse downtown by the Pontchartrain Expwy has surprises from time to time. When Parish Ghost was hard to find, they often had it. Bourbon County stuff too.

Inventory is searchable online (though not always current to the day). For example-

Brady's - Belgian and German beers

Delchamp's is still around???

Also my dumb brain sang "just clap your hands, just clap your hands". After reading the thread title.
