That’s an overstatement, IMO. One of my boys recently bought an electric Mustang and loves it.

Works for his kind of driving (DC area). Probably wouldn’t work so great here in Northern MN.

The f150 is going from BEV to EREV. They’re not dropping the lightning, just making something that might actually make sense. They BEV 150 was always a stupid idea outside of specific fleet uses which it was too expensive for.

Check back with us when battery degradation kicks in and/or he goes to sell it or trade it in.

EVs are more practical than gas vehicles for 90% of drivers. Unless you’re regularly driving long distances or carrying heavy loads a small EV sedan is more than enough.

How did Ford's highly paid executives not see this coming when I did a mile away?

Folks, read that correctly, that is Billion with a B.

The EV scam that was forced on the market by the previous administration is real and these companies will suffer for it.

Unfortunately for Joe Taxpayer, these companies will likely seek (and get) bailouts for this poor decision making.

EV is just the tip of the iceberg. Our government has been pushing the automakers into producing shite. All the mandatory standards have turned a company, known for reliability into making total shite trucks.

They know how to make a quality vehicle that gets decent mileage. The envelope has just been pushed too far by the ever increasing, government regs.

Full ev is very nice if you live in a warmer area and you only putter around a 20 to 30 mile area.

I just can't justify trading in my gas guzzler that is already completely mine... for a new Tesla, and be stuck with car payments.

I saw a mustang ev the other day for the first time at food lion. Was wild. Doesn't an ev mustang defeat the entire purpose of buying a mustang?
