They WANT TO LOSE THE MIDTERMS. It's more than obvious now.

President Trump's advisers are furious with Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) for starting an anti-abortion group to spur new action on the issue, which the White House views as a loser for Republicans in next year's midterms.
"Clearly, Senator Hawley and his political team learned nothing from the 2022 elections, when the SCOTUS abortion ruling [overturning Roe v. Wade] resuscitated the Democrats in the midterms," a close Trump adviser told Axios.

Last week, Hawley revealed to Axios' Stef Kight that he and his wife, Erin Hawley, a fellow constitutional lawyer, are launching a dark-money group called the Love Life Initiative.
The group — which under the law doesn't have to disclose its donors — aims to support anti-abortion state ballot measures and fund TV ads, potentially during the Super Bowl.
"We think that there needs to be a ... strong voice advocating for life," Hawley told Axios.
Trump aides say they got no heads-up about Hawley's plans, and were steamed when they read our story.

Meh... state by state initiatives are no different than what the Molech'ians are up to.

Republicans are utterly useless, ALL they do is hold committees and Tweet threats. They are politically incompetent, if Trump hadn’t ran there would have been a President Clinton and two Joe Biden terms yet they still believe they are the reason Trump was elected

Early move for 2028.
Yep

Why it matters: Trump's lieutenants believe the move by Hawley — a vocal populist who speaks up for the working class — is part of a plan to position himself to challenge Vice President Vance for the presidency in 2028.

Right on cue, just before the kickoff to the mid terms. If Republicans know and do one thing well it's fricking up opportunity.

I just saw an article that Hawley is running in 2028. I have seen bullet points about DeSantis running and 6 week abortion is the first issue on his what he will do list.
This is a settled, States rights issue. Do they want the democrats to win? Yep.

Look who else thinks abortion should be banned at 6 weeks and will promote the abortion issue via whatever candidates decide to run.

What a way to think: we shouldn’t pursue the defense of preborn children because it isn’t politically expedient.
When should someone fight for them? Only immediately following an election year but then stop before the next election?

Lindsey wanted to shite the bed on a national level right after getting the issue returned to the states.
Hawley is seeking to influence on a state level, unless I read something wrong.
Two different things.
Slavery was cool, until it wasn't
Lobotomies were cool, until they weren't
Forced sterilization of undesirables was a great idea, until it wasn't
People evolve.
It is my hope our grandchildren's children will look back on legalized abortion with the same horror we look back on the sins of our own ancestors.

I’d rather see a group to fight against birth control to be honest. We’ve made a lot of progress on abortion already.

100% agree. Am I losing my mind reading these responses? We can do and say whatever we want because "frick Dems" but when it comes to abortion we have to be all hush? If not enacting pro-life laws, what good is it to have Republicans representing us?

I was told this didn't occur...

They have to restore the gravy train balance of their uniparty do-nothing staged opposition and get back to special interest money and fleecing tax payers for financial kickbacks.
