Did the TDS Meathead suffered with cause his very own demise?

His son was/ is a raging drug addict in and out of rehab several times over the last 15 years.

He was probably strung out, owed a hefty sum to dealers. Went to his parents or tried to rob the place. Reiner caught him and things went down from there.

Yes, reiner contributed to his own death with the volume, level, and frequency that he vomited out it landed upon the easily impressionable mind of his drug addict son and it bit him in the arse (or neck in his case).

I think his character, profession, and way of life certainly contributed to raising a murderous junky, but I would consider his TDS tangential at best, unless the murderous junky says otherwise (although I tend not to place a lot of credibility in the words of a murderous junky.)

I can't imagine he was very fun to be around the last 10 years. That much hate and rage is bad for the soul.
