I'll nominate Axel Foley from Beverly Hills Cop, composer Harold Faltermeyer.

That's a great beginning of a song but isn't a song because it doesn't go anywhere. It's a part of a song that was never put together into an actual song, with a beginning, middle, and end.

The Exorcist - Tubular Bells, by Michael Oldfield. Captures the creepiness perfectly.

Showing my age but as a kid I had the soundtrack, on vinyl, for Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

I listened to that a lot. I liked it for some reason.

Not a great movie or song but the few times I’ve watched The Girl Next Door, the ‘this years love’ song sticks in my head for a few days. It not Dylan, but sounds a lot like Dylan.

Made me appreciate that Donovan song. "Hail, Atlantis."
