It may just be me, but that's the one im worried about the least for 3 reasons.
1. We have Peoples coaching edge, worst case scenario, he could coach the whole DL.
2. Did you see that recruiting haul and what we have on campus? There isn't a lack of candidates willing to take the job i assure you.
3. We have Ed in our back pocket. If for some ungodly reason we can't find a DL coach, I'm sure he'd be willing to step in.

I think Chris Kiffin will be dline coach over Ed IF we miss on all the big names. Still a rumor, but it’s been posted here a few times that Baker doesnt want O.

Not surprising. Golding talked about his conversations with him and basically he said that Smith said he's committed now and would reevaluate after the playoff.

I don't know what it is, but there's a reason he isn't here yet. That's why I put him last. It would have to be a "we struck out on everybody else" type of situation.

I think that Lane is giving Blake Baker full reign on the defensive line coach hire. I also think Blake has zero interest in Coach O. So this might be a period where Chris kiffin and Blake Baker are in a get to know stage, while still evaluating options.

Don't know about the coach O piece, but did see this earlier which implies maybe Karr coach Brice Brown will have a position with LSU. Obvious huge grain of salt given the source or lack thereof. This would obviously be a move to replace Frank with a younger, hungrier, and more direct tie to NO HS football.
