Hi OT,

I’m looking for any help to re-home two healthy 8 month old cats in the Cypress, TX 77433 area (northwest Houston).
One is all back and one is black and white tuxedo..

It has been extremely difficult finding someone or a no-kill shelter.

My son brought home a stray cat about a year ago that we did not know was pregnant. These are the last cats from that liter.

They are house trained and very affectionate. They love to curl up with people. Great with kids.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Did you try posting on the Nextdoor door app in your area?

Also, someone might be willing to take both as a bonded pair.

Try local Facebook groups or make a post on the Nextdoor app. It’s easy enough to sign up on Nextdoor and post there and it’s local to your area.

And be sure to include good photos of them. Photos help a lot.

It's a shame someone didn't tie concrete blocks to his feet, and toss your grandpa into a river.

I did. I just also tied him to the bag of cats.

Two birds one stone.

I believe Cat Haven in Baton Rouge will keep them until they find a home if you can get them to BR

Its a bit cruel but not much worse than what a single cat will do to thousands of chipmunks and birds over a lifespan.

Worst part of a cat's day is when the small animal they have been torturing finally dies.

For sociopaths.

Spent a lot of time in the country, on farms, etc....never saw or heard this practice.

This will make people go nuts, but my granny (great grandmother) had barn cats and when they had babies, she used to get my uncle (her grandson) to put the kittens in a sack with rocks and throw them in the bayou, but I doubt you want to do that.

This was on a farm back when I was young.. in the 1980s and my granny was in her 80s. They just did things people wouldn't do today.
