SA will never get a dime of my money. There are much better Christian charities

Never give these charities a penny. They have a lot of overhead and employees to pay.

Why do these charities do this to themselves?
I was watching college basketball recently and they had a commercial for the "V" Foundation for cancer research. It's historically a very good, and successful charity.
This commercial was about how they were committed to "ending the racial disparities in cancer outcomes."
Of all things, let's bring race into cancer research. I wouldn't give them a fricking penny now.

Their statement, on its face, isn't too bad. Excepting for their gender weirdness.
If they're doing struggle sessions, eff 'em.

I haven't given them a penny since their CEO gave his anti-white diatribe several years back.
All of our donations (clothing, food, $$$) now go through our church's various ministries and to the local food bank

The SA has actively aided illegals getting into the US by giving them maps to weak points

Won't give anything to them now. Someone from my church talked to the closest SA to us during Covid.
They take donations from all over, but we were told if you don't live in that county they won't help you.

This is fine I think. Some diseases kill some races more than others. Most people with ALS are white men, for instance. Some types of cancer are bigger problems in the black community.

FYI: Samaritan's Purse, which everyone loves and trusts, doles out a higher percentage to its executives than Red Cross.

I'd agree with you... but for their flip flopping on race/ethnicity in health.
It should be obvious to all that different illnesses affect different ethnicities differently and at different rates- but they've gone back and forth on considering race in health.

Agreed, though those seem to be prefaced with "unlawful".

This is another example where the right needs to be more vocal. Make it known they are racist POS

I used to keep cash in my pocket so that around the holidays I’d be able to put some money in the bucket every time I saw one. Then they pulled that stunt a few years back. Will never get another penny. May they rot.

If there is a biological reason, yes. But that is not the case and that is not what they are referring to.
They are referring to alleged racism in healthcare, where outcomes are worse for black people because they don't have access to care, or doctors don't take them seriously, etc.
In the progressive mind, all outcomes that are not equal are due to racism: healthcare, criminal justice, elections, etc.
Which is all bullshite, and no donations meant for "cancer research" should be spent on this nonsense.
Most outcome disparities in health are related to lifestyle, genetics, eating habits, etc.

I split my charitable donations between St. Judes and the Shriners hospital, both do outstanding work.
