My company's Christmas party is tonight... any good work party stories from the OT?

A couple years ago a chick got fired for introducing her boyfriend to the company CEO as "the HNIC". She didn't say the entire thing but the CEO knew what that meant. Another time a gal showed up to the party already drunk and spent most of it on the bathroom floor with various people attending to her.

Hooked up with one of our redhead milf secretaries after an extended work party. My boss saw busted us making out in a hallway. He teased me a little a few days later but he couldn’t mess with me too much because he was banging another chick we worked with

When I worked at the shitty finance company, we absolutely loathed our District Manager. Dude was evil. I'm sure his kids had hooves.

He would have the Christmas party at his house every year. We had a running joke that we should break something in his house. But no one really did that. We'd just get really drunk and a little rowdy.

Until one year, a coworker's husband got hammer drunk. Dude was out of control. His wife was trying to get him out of the house, and on the way out he said something like "Yall wanna break something in this house? Well watch this!" As he put his fist through the front door window.

The next year the DM rented a place to hold the Christmas party.

Did you at least bang her after?

My first company Christmas party after college was at one of our EBs home on Toledo Bend. We had a lovely catered meal. The next day we had chartered boats to have a fishing tourney (smallish office). It should have been awesome.

And it was. Except I was still in my college mode and didn't know how to handle myself with alcohol. So I went college party mode, especially when someone starting passing out the high end scotch. I had never had scotch. But apparently I liked it. A lot.

At some point in the night, everyone decided to play games, and me being the drunkest at the party, they nominated me to be the host. We were playing a trivia game, and an executive from Nashville wife answered, and she answered wrong. I responded with "ha, you dumb count" in front of everyone.

I don't remember much about that night, but the next morning my boss pulled me aside and told me apologize if I wanted to keep my job. I did, as sheepishly as possible, and everyone treated me as if I were a leper the next day. I spent most of the morning vomiting off the side of the boat anyways.

Fast forward about 2 years later, and I'm now at that executives home in Nashville for a party, and the wife sees me, walks up to me, and says "I remember you, you have a filthy mouth", chuckles, and walks away.

I think she wanted it.

I also now limit myself to 2 drinks at any company party. Lesson learned.

I would assume a Thursday Christmas party means off Friday, no?

When I was younger, we had a good group that would have a lot of fun. Most of the real shenanigans didn’t happen until going out afterwards tho which wasn’t a big deal.

Now that I’m an Executive, I’ll show face the first 30 minutes to and hour then cut out and let the teams have their fun. Havent stayed longer than 45 minutes in over a decade. It’s important that I go though.
