These Florida elections that just occurred really seem to show the shift the state has taken from what I am feeling on the ground level here. I doubt this would have occurred in north Florida or the panhandle but the south of the state has definitely shifted blue.

For pointing out that Trump’s message isn’t resonating? Outside this bubble of Politalk, real life is happening and if you can’t see the damage the GOP at large is doing, not sure what to tell you.

Yea we’re the chicken littles.

Yes. You are. Or you’re like 5 years old. Mid-terms are always rough on the incumbent party. And every mid-term the opposition party claims a blood-bath and all the chicken littles on the incumbent side freak the frick out like it’s the end of the world as we know it.

Calm down. It’s really not that big of a deal.

It isn't "messaging." It's the farking policies that are crap. You can't dress up this garbage in lipstick and lace and have it be accepted.

It’s all by design. The GOPe is just waiting out Trump to return to business as usual. The Uniparty still has life

Only democrats voted in Miami. No one else showed. Why didn't DeSantis GOTV in Miami? To be completely fair, where was Byron Donalds to help GOTV?

The GOP suck that they can never have nice things even when the democrats are imploding.

Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties have been blue for years.

The dems get in in special elections no one pays any mind to. Trump, DeSantis, Donalds should have had a rally in Miami.

Trump was pounded for not working on domestic policies when the EU and BRICS fight him.

The bottom line is the establishment in DC on both sides need pink slips. We tried over 25 years ago with the tea party and Turtle and Eric Holder dems had the IRS audit.

Instead of posting fallacy trusting a plan fantasies. We should peacefully rally around congress until they all resign but a few. Then the business round table will stop cock blocking working americans. Cut off all lobbyists.

lol...you can't make this up. We just had the worst President in history, with the worst policies possible. I get that the younger generation has been indoctrinated in College (now even starting in grade school), but what I can't seem to grasp is why people like you don't use your brain and break away from the woke madness. I always come back to the belief that you actually want Marxism. There is no other way that I can process people like you.

Incorrect. Manny Diaz was Mayor from 2001 to 2009. While listed as Independent he was a Democrat. He was the chair of the Florida Democratic Party from 2021 to 2023.

This just reaffirms Dems have zero life outside of politics and will always show up for any and every election. Pubs have always been content to vote every four years, and maybe during mid terms if youre lucky. Until Pubs hate Dems as much as the Dems hate them, which fuels a 24/7 rage that causes them to turn out for off cycle elections, this is always going to be a possibility.

Pub voters need to realize every election is a fight for their individual freedoms as well as for the continued existence of this entire country. Treating politics, especially elections, as a once in a while phenomenon is going to cause their eventual literal extinction if the left ever completely gets its way.
