Drop back in the draft , pick up extra assets and get your killer tight end, we don’t scare anyone with our current TE’s

I love the idea of trading back. But, I do t love drafting a 1st round TE. They seem to be 50/50 as 1st round prospects. Over the years, it seems they have a higher bust or meh rate than other positions. Even guys who are “can’t miss”.
I mean would any of us trade our 1st round pick for:
Kyle Pitts
Dalton Kincaid
Noah Fant
Colton Loveland
These guys are good but not worth 1st round when they were drafted.
George Kittle, Travis Kelce, McBride at Arizona, Darren Waller, Jake Ferguson- all of these guys were drafted in rounds 2-7..
I mean would any of us trade our 1st round pick for:

I like Sam LaPorta for the Lions too. Think he was a 2nd rd pick also

And yet our TE has the 7th most yards and receptions in the league for TEs, and spent half a year with Spencer Rattler as his QB
