IMO is more important that this team starts finding their stride going forward, we know what are our needs , Fano, Tyson, Caleb, Bain, Woods will be there since Mendoza and Moore will be drafted before us.

You have to have wins like this in a rebuild. It was a fun game and we played very well, our head coach also needs some wins like this as well. It was a well coached game.

You wrong of course. Top picks in the nfl hold just as much value as the nba.
Look at what Carolina and the 9ers gave up to move up for qbs.
That’s how you rebuild a team quick. More draft picks. Bears had their choice of Maye, Daniels, and Williams by moving down,

The Saints shouldn’t purposely tank for more picks. That’s not what NFL teams do or how you build programs. You posted different examples, ie trading down, which the Saints should do if the opportunity makes sense. If Shough wins 2-3 more games and solidifies himself as Qb1 in the offseason that’s worth being lower in the order.
I know you’re an offseason fan so wins are not really something you concern yourself with.

I’m not saying purposely tanking. I’m just saying when the season hits next year, it’s an entirely new year. What we do now won’t matter. Shough can still develop and we not win games.

Sure, they are cool. But what's cooler to me is possibly finding our QB and a team that's improving as the season goes on, hopefully carrying over to next year. Go ask the Browns and Jets what it's like having a top 5 pick every year.

We didn’t have a rookie qb starting in those years with a rookie head coach. Shough putting it together and winning absolutely matters. Sorry about your mocks.

What do you suggest the Saints do?
It's a little bit of a strange situation in that the Saints are hoping they have found their QB of the future in Shough. However, the only way to know that is by playing him. So in that respect the Saints are hoping he plays well. Of course, the byproduct of him playing well could be a few more wins.
If the tradeoff of dropping down a few spots in the draft is finding your (relatively) young, cheap, franchise QB, I think most would take that.
