Do you still get the same level of excitement over CFB?

Just seems like the sport is more corporate than ever. Its not what I grew up with and I hate what it has become. The NIL, the portal with no regulations its all ruined what was great.

Sucks.

Of course not, but my team also sucks.

If LSU is 11-1 and makes the playoffs next year, I am sure I'll be very invested. But overall, the magic of the sport is gone.

Big teams opting out of bowls. WTF is this coming to?

The magic is 100% gone. And we let the TV networks ruin it. They were behind the mega conferences and this long arse playoff/ncaa calendar.

Re-do the conferences. Eliminate the portal, you have to sit out a year. That’s it. You commit, you commit to a school.

You mean now that every team has a shot at the national championship? Of course I do.

No, but there is no comparable product. That’s why the ratings go up despite many long time CFB fans complaining about the product.

These changes get more casual fans, and if you’re a CFB fan, there’s no replacement.

Not really. I still enjoy watching LSU games and the occasional big game here and there but I'm pretty much a complete casual nowadays.

I still love it, but it's been diminished a bit. I was watching the osu/mich game last week and not really caring much. If Ohio St loses, so what? The bowl games are pretty much dead now. It's turning into college basketball where only the tournament is going to matter.

No. “Students” being paid $100,000+ in salary ruins it for me.

I have no desire to watch a lower level pro league.

No. I miss hate watching the top ranked teams, hoping to see an upset that derails a championship chase. Now you can lose 3 times, including to a 7 loss team, and still get in the playoffs

The corporate takeover is laughable at this point. The Pop Tarts Bowl openly mocks that with its mascot. At least that approach makes it funny.

I grew up in New Year’s Bowls, juniors returning for a senior season, payments made under the table, meaningful rivalries, and when one loss mattered.

Nope

Transfer free for all and NIL killed it for me.

I like the same handful of teams playing for a natty every year.

Hopefully they fix this and just have 2 SEC and 2 Big Ten schools in the playoffs.

Might as well get the nfl allow freshman to declare for the draft and even further screw up the college football product
