They will probably keep Ohio State over Texas Tech. Make Ohio State play UGA in the semis. That is the best reward to Indiana.

I like it minus 9 and 10. I think those are switched. However I could see them having Notre Dame vs A&M for a rematch if they wanted to go off of ratings.

I would be okay with that. Maybe also flip Oregon and ole Miss
Ole Miss has the better wins

Need to flip OM/Oregon or JMU/Tulane.
Rather avoid a Tulane/OM rematch.

Why would another group of 5 come into play?
Why not let Miami be the acc rep since duke is not above James Madison
It’s a joke that two group of five get in with the schedules they are playing

If they win this, UVA is a ranked win that would put them over JMU. Do you really see JMU going 8-5 against a P4 schedule?

As a TTU fan, most likely scenario

They shouldn’t put ind and oh st on the same side .. they earned the right to see if they are the top 2.

Notre Dame had the 42nd most difficult schedule, and does not have a signature win. If I were in a major conference, Nicholls would be the most difficult out-of-conference game that I would ever schedule.

6. Oregon - obvious, 11-1
7. Texas A&M - obvious 11-1
8. Oklahoma - 10-2 w/ tie breaker vs Bama
9. Miami - 10-2
10. Notre Dame - 10-2
11. Tulane (guaranteed)
12. James Madison (guaranteed)
The only two in question are Miami and Notre Dame vs Alabama. Miami owns the tiebreaker vs Notre Dame. Alabama is the only 3 loss team, but 3rd loss came in conf champ game…also have 10-2 Vandy sitting there but I think it’s safe to say they’re out.
The least shocking thing would be media Darlings Notre Dame and Bama making it with Miami left on the outside looking in…even though they have a better record than bama and beat Notre dame

I hate it , but they aren’t cutting Bama.
That’s ok , it’s Bama’s retirement tour. They’re done already (and they know it too which is glorious).
frick Alabama

Lol never trust the committee look at Oregon last year, number one seed and their first game was ohio state

According to Fanduel odds, Notre Dame and Alabama IN, Miami OUT
Unless the narrative shifts, this is the most likely outcome.
Odds to get in:
Notre Dame -1200
Alabama -350
Miami +164

Cry harder?
Two slots out of twelve, and probably the only time over about a 10 year period that it’ll happen.

Move A&M to 8 or tech to 3 so we can get ags vs desert ags in round 2
Posted on 12/7/25 at 8:37 am to Dire Wolf
Wish this was about getting the best teams. Vandy would boat race JMU.
ND, Miami and OU are all crap teams.

It has to be Bama and Miami in, with Notre Dame out. Thats the committees only option.
If you remove Bama, after being a playoff team before the conference championship, then teams in a similar spot will elect not to play in conference championship games going forward.
So that leaves two. And if you rank ND ahead of Miami, with the same record, and a head to head win for Miami, then every team should remove every big match up for their schedule, because it means absolutely nothing.
There is no way they can set this kind of precedent. Where the committee really messed up was having ND ahead of Miami. Now they will be forced to flip them with both sitting at home.
