A good bit of us were huge fans of him out of HS. Would love to have him in P&G

I would think it would be pretty difficult to have him come in and compete with Durham and Berry. This was a good season to take some HS backs that would expect a small role next year.

IIRC he was always going OOS. He chose Duke and his brother chose Vandy out of HS. I don’t think he considers LSU “home.”

LSU was not interested in either. There was never an idea of leaving the state being inevitable. That was just the best opportunities for both kids. They are from Mandeville. Don’t be foolish in thinking they wouldn’t want to play for LSU.

Be great, but the word around the campfire is Kewan Lacy.

I watched probably 6-7 games of Sheppards senior year at Mandeville in person.

He’s a legit three down back, good size and has good hands out of the backfield that didn’t get shown a ton at Mandeville. I’m happy he’s shown out at Duke this year, he’s a good kid.

No doubt, but it's hard to imagine any good RBs wanting to transfer here with Berry, Durham, and Johnson.

I'd imagine we'll have to get 1-2 guys that are more under the radar, but can hopefully be nice depth pieces.

Sheppard just committed an absolute bonehead play by running out of bounds

Probably Durham, but Lacy is better than both

I know this for a fact: Kiffin wanted him at Ole Miss and LSU did not offer last year.

I’d bet Durham ends up in the portal.

You should have room to bring in two RBs but it’ll be tough because Berry has shown so much promise this year

Durham was better than Berry this year in just about every measure, don't let your confirmation bias play tricks on your mind.

Durham will fit Kiffin's run scheme very well. They will still need a 3rd RB, especially if they can get a guy like Lacy.

I would have to think it would be Durham. He isn't the same since his injury. Berry and Lacy would be the best in college football, if the OLine is just above average.

in SEC Games

Durham - 63-369-5.9ypc
Berry - 69-281-4.1ypc

Durham started to look like himself on the backhalf of the schedule.
