Only one person on that stage had actual experience. The other 4 were speaking from their "feeler."

Also missed in the OM told Lane he couldn't coach the CFP was the fact that OM didn't rule out him coaching the SECCG. Waiting for bama/auburn game is what drug it outr

Lane also has a really good case to sue Ole Miss for telling him that he couldn't finish his existing contract without signing an extension. The threat that he couldn't finish the season without signing an extension is illegal.

They literally discussed the fact that Kiffin was holding out to see what happened with the Alabama Auburn game. You people just hear what you wanna hear. They discussed it evenly and fairly.

All I know is Ole Miss screwed themself. 98% of CFB knew Kiffin was leaving except for them and they still panicked hired Golding

Golding was the beginning of the end for those vaunted Bama defenses. Also allowed that ridiculous comeback by Georgia this year. He’s a fricking idiot

they didn’t say he couldn’t finish without signing an extension
they said he couldn’t finish if he was employed by LSU.

One speaking from experience

3 speaking from feelings

1 speaking with a hurt arse.

Saban toward the end was clearly getting pissed off at how they were attacking Lane, especially with Rece.

I always love when people think they're qualified to opine on how a man should make life decisions.

Desmond saying "I think he should've stayed".

Cool, it's not your life. Just because you're a talking head on National TV doesn't mean your opinion matters on what others choose to do with their life.

It's silly really.

Exactly.

If there is one thing that has become abundantly clear in the past week, its that LSU is where Kiffin wants to be. Why should Kiffin have turned down the chance to do something he really wants to do? Howard can say Kiffin should have stayed at Ole Miss a million times, but it won't change the fact that Kiffin just didn't want that.

Why people take GameDay so seriously always makes me think of the Animal House food fight

Sports journalists, most of them don't know sh*t. Rece Davis grew up in Muscle Shoals Alabama. He went to Alabama and begin his journalism career there. Any surprise he's a Bama homer? I just ignore what he says b/c he has so much bias. Not worth getting worked up about. Look Herbie early in his career had bias toward Ohio State and the Big 10. He has come along and is very objective. But Rece. There is no hope for that gump mofo. He probably has a little Paul Bryant altar at his house where he kneels down before he goes to bed every night asking "The Bear" to watch over him while he sleeps.

My illegal advice to you is don’t give legal opinions. That said, you are more than qualified to be a civil district court judge in New Orleans or Baton Rouge.

Oh the hypocrites sitting there on the biggest show on the biggest sports network. Why did Rece leave the network he was on in Michigan? I believe it was Pat who said he wished Lane would have stayed and built what he wanted at Ole Miss. Says the guy that jumped from DAZN to ESPN. Why did Desmond choose to play at Michigan rather than a smaller school?

Also, when people bring up how they agree he couldnt coach the playoffs and poach coaches and players, why doesnt anyone point out theres absolutely nothing stopping him from doing that while hes not coaching the playoffs?? Blows my mind no one counters that point.

At the end of the day, their opinions do not matter at all. Kiffin made the best decision for himself and his family. End of discussion.

Not true.
Carter admitted that he knew what LK was doing weeks before the after hours meeting at the house.

Ole Miss would have had a better shot of making a run in the playoffs if they let Kiffin coach. Also, it would have hurt LSU for early national signing day.

Very short sighted of them.
