If Brown, Cooley and Geralds sign, how many spots are left

With who is out of eligibility or expected to enter the draft, and before any more LSU players enter the portal, how many available roster spots would there be?

There are at least 10 spots left, but I don't know if the staff wants to fill all of them or save for the portal.

Lane has already demonstrated that he isn't recruiting players solely based on their Louisiana backgrounds. I think he is working to cut many of the excess players left over from the previous coaching staff. As a result, I expect to see many roster spots open up, which may require us to bring in a significant number of transfers just to ensure we have a complete team. I've noticed a lot of players on this roster, and I'm unsure who recruited them or why they are even on the team.

They are keeping a lot spots open for the transfer portal. Depending on how many players we lose to the drat, portal, etc. we could see upwards of 15-20 spots taken in the portal.

theoretically there as many spots as we want. There isn't a signing limit anymore. But I think it would have to be a special recruit to get in beyond those guys.

Trust Kiffin. That guy is laser focused on winning and relatively ruthless in making it happen. Honestly, I like the proven Portal players better than the unproven green newbies who have a learning curve ahead.
