Was Glen Dorsey the last 5-star DT that lived up to the recruiting hype at LSU?

Freak Johnson, Maason Smith, Rashard Lawrence were good, not great.

Surely I'm forgetting a 5-star DT since Dorsey that was dominating here.

you might have named 3 of the 4 here

Edit: since Dorsey’s time^

Edit 2: Yes the only other 5-Star DT since 2007 is Dom McKinley

He was a big part of the worst D Line in LSU history.

Freak was a big disappointment. I know Lawrence struggled big time with injuries and maybe Masson’s injury made him a different player, or maybe he was just overrated.

Ok, then let me rephrase the question:

When is the last 5-star DT that dominated at LSU?

We do seem to be on a streak of highly recruited dlineman (specifically from LA) not living up to hype. Time to change it!
