Maybe he redeems himself? Sloan was awful but there’s less of a pressure cooker at UK, and I’m sure Stein will call plays.

The last 2 years has been among the most miserable offense i've seen.
Call this season hampered a bit by a terrible OL and gimpy QB early on, but last year the QB was quite good and OL very capable (talent wise) and it was a huge mixed bag. Not being able to run the ball in 2024 was extremely frustrating when you know you have 4 NFL OLinemen out there and RBs who werent exactly terrible

I suspect he will be the OC in name only. The HC, Stein, will be the OC in practice. Kind of like Pete Carmichael to Sean Payton.

Stein may let him call a couple of plays in the 4th quarter with 5:00 left in the game and they are losing by 30.

I have it on good authority that Joe Sloan is a great play caller when someone else calls the plays.
