Going with Ruger Gen II Prairie 7mm PRC. What's your top 2 or 3 best .30 cal suppressors and why?
Omega 300?
Nomad ?
Otter Creek?
Diligent defense?

I’d go titanium and light.
I bought a B&T 769 TI because they had a free tax stamp and wanted to get ahead of the rush.

Those things cost more than the rifle

If it's a hunting rifle that won't be shot rapidly, I agree with Rize. Titanium is great as it is very light compared to stainless or inconel.
Look at specter cat as well. Their's are printed and are incredibly quiet.

My next will likely be the Diligent Defense Enticer S-Ti. I have an Omega 300 and it's fine, but my next one will be specifically to cut weight

LPM Mach series if it's on a hunting gun. Go with a Mach S or Mach K. I like short cans for hunting. If you want to really learn about silencers, go to pewscience and read up.

Anyone running a Banish 46 or SilencerCo Hybrid 46 for a 35 Whelen?

Name your budget. My favorite of mine right now is my Abel Tehorem-S with the Abel brake. I’ve used my Thunderbeast Magnus S-RR on my 7prc and it greatly reduces recoil. I have the Recoil X brake to try as it is supposed to be better than the TBAC brake.
Enticer S-TI is a decent budget option, but can also benefit from the Recoil X brake. Omega 300s are good at everything, great at nothing.
My list of hunting cans would be in this order:
Theorem-S with brake
Nomad Ti XC with Recoil X brake.
Magnus S-RR
Magnus S/Nomad Ti XC without brake

Not those 2 but I do have a Dead Air Primal 46 on a .308 and it does the job. Went to put it on my 9mm PCC and didn’t have the right thread adaptor. Ordered it and think I may already have one
I’ve got to get my shite together because I’m starting to get parts all over the place and need to label this shite and put it in zip locks. I direct thread all of my stuff so now I’ve got thread protectors and damn muzzle brakes all over the place.

CAT cans are quiet, but routinely come in heavy. My JL is nearly a pound, and titanium. Their cans are made for specific applications as well for them to really shine.

Should hold my inconel one

The dirty Dave is a .308 can and in Ti is 9oz
My Ti WB is only 6 oz.

I still love that gun and if you ever raffle it, I’ll buy all the tickets.

I’m not partial to a certain company. I need to see what Kiosk is at Songy’s in Houma. I know I need a 46 for the 35. I ordered a thread adapter already.

It’s .30-cal rated, but purpose-built for .308 and reducing back pressure. I don’t think 7PRC would be a good use case compared to other options.

Which one?

That short barrel .308 with the Primal and the Zeiss.

Surprised noones mentioning the silencerxo scythe ti. It’s a pretty top of the line bolt gun hunting can. I’m not normally the biggest silencerco fan just because I think there’s some better tech out there but for a a hunting bolt action that doesn’t require a real high tech suppression solution the scythe Ti hits the nail on the head.
