When should we expect a decision from Tulane about their coaching search?

Like everyone else here, I’m on Baker watch. Call me crazy, but I feel like if Baker is still the DC here next year, this team could be very very dangerous.

It feels like opposite, actually. It feels like they have their guy and are sitting on it for recruiting to wrap up.

How so? Because some defensive guys are not signing until they know who their DC will be. If Tulane is waiting to announce, its hurting LSU today. Those that were going to sign today, but want to wait until the DC is officially announced, are getting screwed

They could not even fill half the stadium last week with a team headed for a possible playoff spot. A few rich fans with zero broad support,.

So you would prefer him leave for Tulane now and conduct a nation wide search for a new DC during the next 2 days while the portal is open?
Then have same said DC start talking to whoever the frick you’re referring to and get them to sign? All in the next 2 days.
If Baker has accepted the job Tulane is doing us a solid waiting to announce.

If anything, they are being patient with Baker who has requested that he get signing day behind him.

They deserve one another! I've hated Tulane since I first heard them on the
radio in the mid 60's and the Golden Voice of LSU John Ferguson calling them "the Wave"!
I was there when the big fight broke out (1976) after Shawn Burkes torpedoed a Tulane player. Watch it on Youtube, It is great!
