I quit reading when I saw JJ McCarthy at 100.
I have no clue why they kept Locksley around for another year.

But as Indiana has shown anyone can turn it around. I'd like to see them good again, they were competent in early 00s and 80s.
KC has a very rabid soccer fanbase. Also Midwest needed a spot after Chicago declined. I plan on catching a game.

Burrow and Newton are beyond dispute.

Henry robbed CMC. Tebow robbed McFadden. I'll go Bush for slot 3 but I can understand an argument for Manziel. Troy Smith also robbed McFadden egregiously and shouldn't be on here.
The worst players on all practice squads collectively would win by 28 minimum
Ah, my mistake, misinterpreted your comment.

It's a compromise between the owners who want team control after investing in the development and players who want increased salaries after grinding through minors and making peanuts their first few years.

The two main reasons for it is too much volatility in baseball for NBA/NFL rookie scale contracts (cuts both ways: could sign a bum to a big contract or a superstar to a peanut deal) and helps small markets retain players for longer. Next CBA fight is primarily going to be about cap/floor but players also want to go to arbitration and FA quicker.
Baseball style arbitration is each side submits a number and the arbitrator chooses one, can't split the difference.

Theoretically it is supposed to encourage fair and good faith offers since if you completely lowball/ask way too much the arbitrator will pick the other side.
Terrell Owens spurned the induction to host his own ceremony after they did similar political BS and made him wait two years.
Historically it's WVU. And they've been right there in '88. I don't know how they live with themselves after the 2007 Pitt game.
Initial news made it seem like he had a drug problem but now it looks like he pulled a Sherrone

A standup classy man like Bobby Petrino would never.
definitely, if you're not at a top 10 job right now you are fielding the call.

Just think this late in cycle / potential athletic department turnover given Harbaugh era + now this is setting up a punt year.
Feels like the AD is about to get the axe and they'll go Poggi interim for a year while they hire an AD and conduct a search.

Program looks like a toxic clownshow right now. Still, any coach would bite. It's a top job and easy schedule.
Moore could have bounced back if he was 1) a good coach worth the bad press, and 2) didn't crash out and get arrested.

They have to cut ties with the Harbaugh era at this point. 7 staffers arrested and 4 banned from CFB since he took over. Got them a ring* but they're so pretentious the powers that be will want to return to the "Michigan Man" standard.
Would love this as it would mean Will Hall wasn't the worst hire of the cycle

The unconfirmed rumors are he broke into an assistant's house and was threatening to harm himself.

Hope this doesn't get too dark. Love taking my pot shots as much as anyone but he has kids.
Tulane may be needing this tactic before too long.
This is what I had heard - that he was already beginning to put together a staff at Auburn and it fell through at the last minute.
They're now degrading academics in addition to their age old tradition of kneecapping athletics!
