But what I’m afraid of is LSU turning into Ole Miss in a LSU Tiger uniform. I get Lane is good..cool. But just because an athlete is committed to Ole Miss doesn’t mean they’re a fit for LSU. There haven’t been many significant recruits/players coming out at Ole Miss in the recent years.

We’re always in a recruits top 5. I hope we go get the best, not settle and keep it that way. I’ll say, we swung and went for the wrong “top” guys in the past. I’m hoping Lane can fix that part to it.

Ole Miss is 11-1.

Because of lane, it’s not your daddy’s ole Miss.

He said we're going after the best players. Not if they went to whatever school in LA. Just have to trust his process for the portal and

Let’s put it this way. I would rather a 3 star play like a 5 star then a 5 star play like a 3 star

Silly to worry about that.

Lane came here because he did not want ole miss athletes, he wants the athletes that LSU can get.

Would you rather LSU look like LSU of the last 3 years? No, thanks.

Wouldn’t it make sense that Kiffin was recruiting these players for his system and knows what fits better than you do?

Did you think Kiffin was going to take this from the #11 class to the #2 class in two days?

Moving forward, I will expect top 5 classes more often than not, but let’s be reasonable and realistic with this signing class.

I don't mind lane taking his lowest rated oline recruit, and swapping our lowest rated oline recruit, since he knows his recruit better and likes for his system.

BUT, I do expect kids like Jase mathews (or similar talent) to flip and he make a splash as the new hc for us. Hes the highest paid coach in the nation with Kirby. Hopefully we're paying for both eval of lower rated kids, + ability to hit a homerun with highly rated talent.

That record would look different without Chambliss.

Brother you see what Ole Miss’s record is?

Apparently you didn’t watch Lanes press conference the other night when he says they are going to recruit only the players.

Really hard to take your post seriously. The Last 5 years Ole Miss has had a better record than us in 4 of the 5. And. The last 5 games against us they won 3 and probably should have beat us last year.

Hes bot recruiting athletes that are good for Ole Miss. hes recruiting football players that fit his scheme.

Chambliss' record would look much different without Lane and Weis Jr. Remember that Chambliss was playing for D2 the last few years. He was rated over 200 in QB rankings. Lane saw something in him.

How have those classes worked out for us outside of 2019? Stfu. Let the man work. This is why he is Lane Kiffin and you are posting about him.

Ole Miss had more players drafted in the NFL than LSU this year. Sit down.

I think I understand what you are trying to say but they don’t need to be a fit for LSU. They need to fit Lane Kiffin and his vision. He has total control of football operations and if he wants them than you should too.

Lane has coached at Bama, USC, Tennessee, NFL, etc.
I trust that he knows talent.
