I love this from Kiffin, and he is right. Maybe, just maybe, LSU has found the right coach. Seems to me Kiffin is the exact right fit fior LSU.
In a perfect college football world, Kiffin will be to LSU what Saban was to Bama.
Multiple championships. Make it so.
GEAUX TIGERS!

When he mentioned Carroll was 50 taking over USC (a coach who had his challenges to that point in his career) and Saban was 55 taking over Bama (a coach who aside from LSU had his challenges to that point in his career), I was ready to run through a fricking brick wall for Lane (a 50 year old coach who had his challenges to this point in his career)

I wonder if he read my TD posts on the CCB because I pointed this out his age in comparison to Saban and why his resume is perfect and unmatched by all coaches available
Kiffin has a massive amount of experience with His Dad, Saban and Carrol as his 3 mentors for the last 20 years of coaching
Compare it to the ASU coach, I mean there is 15 years of experience gap there...
and ZERO SEC experience

I just want to enjoy watching LSU football games! It was hard to do that with BK running the show with his style of play.

This is how I was. I love LSU football and cheered and watched every game. Just never felt the energy with BK. He never embraced the state, city, or anything LSU.

I was actually surprised when he mentioned in the presser how blown away he was when touring the facilities, seeing the Heismans & NC trophies, interior design, etc..in that, I realized that he'd never seen LSU's football digs before, but was merely a Saturday night stadium visitor.
Then again, I thought, why would have a coach of another team ever even seen the crib. Maybe, I was thinking the O connection, or some other coaches event, would have resulted in an offseason impromptu "Oh, by the way, have you seen our renovations?" tour.

Is the itch coming back? No pressure, but we're all kind of depending on you now that Lane is here.

He has that kickass classic corn belt Midwest accent. Sounds like a lot of my coworkers who are from central Illinois. I also loved Kiffin’s sincerity and humbleness. A refreshing change for sure.

Another poster said earlier in the season, it was like the team had no soul.

He said the same thing that Coach Jay Johnson said recently : "This place is special".

That had to sting for Ole Miss. Are they really that delusional? They have an SEC West co-champs sign

You think someone wrote that for him and told him to say that?

I could never really figure out what was BK's "style of play."
Tough defense? No.
High powered offense? No
Team wide "Blue collar", gritty, (fill in the blank____) attitude? No
Hard nosed running game? No
Big time passing game? No
What was his "Style of play?"
