I don't think the OM homer expected that. He basically said he had an opportunity and LSU tried to let him coach etc. and brings up how nobody is saying anything about Sumrall.

Ole Miss fricked up bad. A dream season and they tell Kiffin and the staff they can’t coach because they might poach players? They’re butthurt he’s going to a rival? Just maximize this season, you never know when you’ll be back. They’re going to get raided regardless, Kiffin doesn’t have to be around the players to take who he wants.

Definitely a blast from the past. I'm sure many on the site have no idea who he is or watched him play. I was glad to see he was reasonable about the drama.

Ole Miss will forever not understand this. All you had to do was let him coach the playoffs.
Anyone saying you can't do that, never explains why or understands what Ole Miss is.
This was their one shot to ever make a deep run at a national championship.
They said he will start taking the players...the players are already going to leave.
They said this is an infomercial for LSU, it would have been any ways.
They couldn't swallow their pride and now have AI calling thier plays.

This is the part that is most laughable about OM’s position. Really they know it doesn’t matter. He will poach who he wants to poach regardless of if he’s still coaching them or not. The real reason OM told him to frick off is because they are being petty bitches. That’s it

That's how I saw it as well. They just got petty. I also understand that. I'd be pissed too.

I’d say he was more than reasonable. Sounds like he’s coming out and going to bat for his boy. Ole Miss will come around. They can’t just pretend their best era didn’t happen lol.
