I believe so. Very impressed with Shough so far. Aside from 2 pt conversion attempt

I think definitely. I want to give him at least 2 more viable targets and a couple of new YOUNG RBs (no more bullshite like Williams in FA) next year and hopefully a guard in FA. Give him the entire year to see how he’s progressing as we will likely have a handful of wins or less again with the roster turnover, silly to put another qb into this meat grinder that may be only marginally better.

Not even a question. Shough and Dart have similar numbers if we’re comparing rookies.

Yes, and it’s not particularly close.

Shough is leading all rookies in completion percentage and has the second highest passer rating among rookies. Hes doing this with a lack of weapons, lack of running game, and a really bad interior line.
Hes showing flashes of being a really good player, but needs to get sharper obviously.

All you needed to see was Shough calling out routes and blocking assignments in both of those late game drives..
I dont remember ever seeing Rattler doing that, and Im pretty sure Shedeur is operating out of the "four random pictures on a poster board from the sideline" playbook
Shough made some very nice throws Sunday.. He also made a couple that I think he will remember that you just cant fit that window against NFL defense (2-pt conversion INT)
Point being - he seems athletic enough and very smart.. Hopefully Moore can continue to build a rapport with him

Shough has shown enough to where I don’t think we should draft a QB in the 1st round this year considering how weak the QB class looks.
I’d rather build a better team around him, give him next year to prove it and if he fails then draft a QB like Sayin in 27

The legendary Bill Simmons was very complimentary of him during "Guess The Lines" this week.

Don't let the rattler fan boys see this

I’m rather partial to “Shitter” Sanders.

When he does throw the ball it is rarely off target. That was something that stood out to me in the preseason. Compare that to Rattler who on one throw may thread the needle to a covered received...then on the next pass throw it near the feet of a wide open WR.
Where Shough seems to be struggling is consistently being decisive on when to throw. But that's probably not out of the ordinary for most rookies and something that can improve with more experience. IMO, rarely is downfield accuracy and touch something that gets significantly better with experience. You either have it or you don't. Shough SEEMS to have it.
Pleasantly, you can see the physical tools to work with. He has effortless velocity, is on target quite a bit, and can move around in the pocket without complete panic. The interior OL blows and I don't know if Moore is doing a great job of helping Shough get the first read open all that much. But in a season that's been mostly an evaluation period there is at least some hope for Shough.
