They’re going to have to have officers surrounding Lane his entire stay in Oxford. At least for next season, it will be so fresh. If LSU plays Ole Miss in Oxford 3-4 years from now, I’d think things would cool off by then.

No doubt it’s going to get ugly. Wouldn’t be shocked to see Ole Miss fans throwing trash, beer cans, water bottles at Lane.

Those Fans are Insane. Literally! We went to the game in 23. When LSU pulled ahead 49-40 that place turned into a War Zone! I have never seen so much stuff being thrown on the field and at LSU Fans in the stands. What they showed on TV was nothing! Refs would have been justified calling the game and declaring Ole Miss Forfeit for Safety!

There are going to be so many fights at that game. The Ole Miss fans will be bitter.

Why is the game at Oxford two yrs in a row???

Years ago I had an "I support Colonel Reb" sticker on my a$$. I was younger and skinnier and I dunno, maybe I wanted to call attention to that.

An Ole Miss redneck came up to me and removed that sticker from my derriere. Let me describe him: someone you'd see on HeeHaw... overall wearing, cud chewing hillbilly that was vertically challenged and fat.

I informed him that if he put his hands on me again, I would call UMPD and have him arrested for assault.

Meanwhile his fat toothless wife was yelling from the bed of the truck something to the effect of "Baby don't pay her no mind. She probably never been touched by anyone like you."

This may also have been the trip I singlehandedly stole a ginormous "Go To Hell LSU" banner off of a frat house. There was more rope holding up that banner than what is sold in Home Depot and Lowe's combined. (An exaggeration I know, but it took a lot of effort to detangle and get it undetected).

I think I'll sit this one out. Y'all have fun.

We finally have a true rival in my book. The animosity they must feel towards LSU is going to reach levels not seen since we ruined multiple title opportunities they had in the late 50s early 60s

I’m looking forward to that one. That stadium is so small cheapest tickets will probably go for $500

I went to Jackson in 1973 the year after we beat them with one second left. They printed LSUcks bumper stickers and were obscene. The fathers carried their sons on their shoulders when the starting lineups were given. We beat the crap out of them 54-7!!!
