Re-watching him with SVP last night on Kiffin to LSU.
Right out of the gate: “The overwhelming thing that stands out to me is that he left a playoff team.”
“This is not the last great job that will come up, he should’ve seen his team through.”
“You have to make a choice, pick a lane.”
“He ultimately picked what was best for himself.”

Of course he said that. What surprises you?

Why wouldn’t he pick what’s best for himself?
They players are doing the same thing nowadays. Well some of them.

How dare he after 6 years take a significant job promotion. Rece melt is glorious!

I still don't quite understand what the media is so fricking up in arms about. Lane made it clear that he wanted to continue coaching at OM through the playoffs. OM said no, which they felt like was best for them. Wtf was Kiffin supposed to do? Refuse to leave and scew over the school even more?

He is just a Bama homer POS.

I’ve always thought it was funny that the other GameDay guys played for their schools yet could hold back their bias while doing their job.
Yet Rece’s **** arse can’t even pretend to hide bias, despite probably never playing the sport in his life.

YES, what everyone does in a FREE American society. Wow

As did the 60 transfers on the Ole Miss roster. The players aren't loyal, and the coaches aren't loyal.
If this upsets Reece, he should use his platform on the most popular college football show to speak up and demand change from the NCAA to keep these players, and I guess coaches, from jumping from school to school with frequency.

Any other years in the history of college football aside from the last two he would be leaving a team going to a meaningless bowl game. Cry me a river

This is so asinine. Who's to say when the next great job will come up? And where will Kiffin's stock be when it's available?
Rece is such a scared Gump.

Bama have both he and Finebaum at ESPN along with Roman Harper although he's SECN. We have Booger, RC, and Marcus Spears.
Our guys don't shill for us like them two do

What did the bitch have to say about Sumrall? The only difference is Sumrall’s new employer is letting him coach if if they are in.

The seduction of this viewpoint is just showing you who can critically think and who can’t. There’s a reason Saban called this a rule problem and not a Lane problem. Rece obviously took the other side because he failed to think it through. Lane did nothing wrong. The people claiming he “cheated on his wife” are lunatics. He doesn’t owe ole Miss a damn thing except a buyout. This is a free country.

Can we finally start reporting on these guys in the same narrative manner they do on us?
