Official apology to our insiders

I believed them, then I didn’t and when their timelines didn’t come to fruition, I called bullshite.
Turns out most of them were indeed correct and we can’t fault them for Lane fighting to coach his team in the playoffs, delaying official announcements and signing.
If anything, the Ole Miss AD is the retarded one for not immediately trying to counter then allowing him to stay on for the playoffs when losing the counter arguments.
In the end, the insider posters were largely accurate, except for Philly’s Saban bullshite.

I think Saban was tempted but age and possibly tarnishing a legacy at Bama was a big ask.
It worked out well for all involved, Nick did right by us. Hopefully now that Lane is here, we can bring Saban back to induct him into our ring of honor. He originally woke the sleeping giant and set us up for decades of success. It’s time

The cold feet thing was a concern. A close family friend is close friends with one in the hiring group and that was a thing conveyed via text in the closing week(s).

I didn't believe it because of the PTSD. This time I wasn't going to believe anything until it was officially announced.

You don't owe anyone an apology. Many of them were posting shite they read elsewhere. I have a friend/source who gave me some info along the way. I didn't have all of the details and didn't feel the need to post b/c I don't give a shite about TD clout. But I can tell you that people were posting "Done deal" before the deal was done. Every time someone was posting about an announcement coming by a certain time/date, they were making it up or being fed bad information.
