If imagine with technology today, the days of the old long term serial killers is over with.

Unless you do like Samuel Little and kill lot lizards across the country while driving freight.

It is very hard to get away with the murder of someone you are connected to these days. They can lift DNA off of the slightest touch these days and get a profile then use your kin folks DNA in any database to track you down.

I didn't see anything in that video or link that mentioned Thomas Morris. Where did you get that name?

So you or your family can be successful serial killers?

IF there was a serial killer in BR, the news would be ALL over it.

That's in Zachary and no. This poor mom has trouble accepting the fact that her daughter was a drug addict and likely ran off and OD'd somewhere. She's been trying to pin it on this guy for a couple of years. The story makes no goddamn sense.

There probably is. My FIL is a retired homicide detective from HPD and he said each major American city likely has at least 5 serial killers roaming the streets.

I know Baton Rouge isn't a major city, but it's probably big enough to have at least one.

Here is a question for the board.

So on shows like First 48, the detectives are trying to narrow down their search to find a killer. They ask 10 different people for their DNA via swabs and they agree. The cops run their DNA against the killers DNA (and probably CODIS), BUT do those samples get discarded or are they inputted into the system for eternity?

They were all prostitutes and drug addicts. He likely contacted them to meet.

Doesn't even have to be you. Familial DNA led to the arrest of BTK. LINK

I would think the samples are imputed.

So do they have a name but just no solid evidence? I assume this guy must have been interviewed at least once or more already.
